It is so ironic that celery was mentioned as a possibility for making a stamp, as I had done this a few months ago, but set it aside for future use. I don't recall where I saw the idea. After a few attempts, what worked best was to use the complete stalk left whole, cutting it off at a point where you can spread each individual stalk open to create petals, assuming that you want to stamp a flower. Make sure you cut them straight across so that when you stamp with the paint, each stalk hits the paper. It takes a bit of practice to get the right amount of acrylic paint so it isn't just a huge blob and once you put paint on, the celery will start absorbing it and eventually it won't work very well. I had even chosen the correct color for today! Lucky me!
Is there a name for the whole thing of celery, as isn't each piece called a stalk? A bunch? A clump?

Oh gosh - you really "rose" to the challenge. I'm so glad somebody tried it out. The bling and the leaves look wonderful with your celery roses - this is so chic and stylish.
Now you mention it, I have no idea what you call a whole clump of celery. Top marks today for you!!
