I've had this partially finished card on my desk for more than a week and today I finished it up. I had everything layed out, but was trying to decide if I like the corners I'd put in. I glued them in place and then looked at the subtle glitter in the ribbon (I'm not sure it shows in the scan) and was thinking that I needed to repeat that red glitter somewhere else on the card. I used some discarded circle chads from the Eyelet Circle die and layered two of them together to create some dimension. Then I glued them on the fleur de lis accent pieces and added Cherry Cobbler Stickles to the top of them. This was a bit tedious but free use of something I generally toss and therefore much cheaper than an equivalent number of rhinestones. I made the fleur de lis corners by cutting two squares in half and them trimming them.
This makes card number 17 for Christmas this year!
