I embossed over the tape after I put it on the card. I cut the shank off the button so it would adhere to the card nicely. Since I used old papers, scraps, stashed button, and retired stamp I figure this card can be number 18 of my 100 cards in 100 days challenge collection.

What an interesting layout for this card - so many elements; I can't decide on my favorite part! I've always wondered if I could emboss over washi tape, or if it would rip... well, dilemma solved! Thanks!

Wonderful valentine, Liz. I like the embossing over the tape for a neat effect, using the positive/negative of the die cut heart, and the lovely heart button...always think of the Tyrol when I see pewter buttons like this.
