For my CC card today I went the birthday route. A friend celebreates her birthday on Friday & being this close to Christmas I went with today's colors. Except for the stickles this is all SU! I stamped the candles & cut them out, applied the stickles & set aside. I stamped, sponged, then cut out the flames & popped them up. I stamped the greeting in Wasabi because I don't have GG yet. This will be on it's way tomorrow in hopes that it arrives on Friday. It doesn't have far to go so it should.
I hope everyone who celebrates Christmas is more ready than me! Where did the time go?????

Karen, your friend will appreciate this pretty b'day card with the glittery patterned candles...even the flames glimmer. The crimped bg panel makes a wonderful textural base.

Great idea to use these colors for an almost Christmas birthday..the glittered candles are a nice touch ;) And no, I'm not ready for next week..did some baking today but need to wrap presents and do a few more small stamping projects.
