Susan (One4Joy) is one of my favorite stampers here on SCS. Looking through her gallery I felt like a kid in a candy store!! With so many cards that inspired me it was hard to pick!! I finally went with this one. I loved the vintage image and her layout, the felt..it really spoke to me. And at first I didn't realize she had paper pieced the dresses...what a fabulous detail! I changed the color scheme , the image, and the accents..I used a photo turn on my "bow" and added a brad in the upper right. Susan, you have some awesome stamps and what you do with them is so creative and artsy!! I wish you lived nearby...we'd have lots of fun stamping together!!

Polly, you're one person I thought of who has a similar style to Susan, artsy, quirky and humorous, and you've done her proud with this creation! Love the vintage photo look image - love the addition of the felt and the rich colour scheme too!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?

I agree with everyone, I kept thinking, how are Polly and Susan related? LOL Kindred spirits for sure! This is a wonderful case of Susan's awesome card! I think it is so cool that it is still a trio of faces we see and you also did the great paper piecing! Love the vintage feel and a little Christmassy too!

Polly, I think you and Susan have a LOT in common artistically and your approach to creating cards. Both of you have unique images and use them in such interesting ways. Your card is a true honor to Susan from a kindred spirit IMO. She will be thrilled by your card as well as your words.
