I went the clean and simple route for this challenge to use mixed media for a card. Back around 2001, when I was just getting introduced to stamping, a friend discovered Radiant Pearls paints and got me hooked on them. They usually sit neglected these days (2 boxes full!), so I pulled them out and swirled a few colors of blue and purple onto a piece of watercolor paper and let it dry for my background. The result kind of reminded me of a sunset, so I stamped and embossed the sailboat image and called it good - CAS mixed media!

I like your style and love that background! I haven't heard of those paints but you sure got me curious. What an impact that background makes against your embossed boat. Super lovely card!

The background is glorious and oh-so-perfect for this challenge AND that sailboat. I think you need to break these break these paints out more often. ;) Beautiful card! Thank you for playing along in my challenge.

Absolutely perfect background for that image! I bet it really shimmers IRL. That stamp is one of very few I regret not having. It looks wonderful here.
