I loved Kathleen's Honor Your Elders (HYCCT1327) and met a new to me SCS'er who is the FS this week. My cards are for both challenges
My beautiful woman was long neglected on a shelf at the local stamp store...I would visit her from time to time. And then one day my sweet friend, Konnie suggested I should adopt this stamp, that there was wonderful things that could be done with such an enchanting image. She represents wisdom, courage, keep on keeping on, mystery. I'd love to hear the stories she'd tell. And reminds me not to forget to listen to those elders placed within my path.
For our Featured Stamper 351, catdidit...I had such fun 'walking' through your gallery last night, at least two times through all your work! You have amazingly detailed cards. And it was hard to choose. However, because my elder was calling me, I felt your Grungy love you was the perfect match. I used a similar layout, swapped your twine for my prissy ribbon, keep the colors the same, but used a sentiment to tell my story.
The Mark Twain quote is quite interesting, don't you think? Wrinkles should merely indicate where SMILES have been! So to every little wrinkle, I say thank you...I will expect dozens more.

Had to stop back by to read the details of your wonderful image! What a romantic story! I am so glad you adopted her, because she does have tales to tell!
