ok, ok...so I might be stretching (taffy) the WT just a bit with the CANDY theme, but since my favorite candy is a PayDay I had to play off that!
I really liked the sketch this week...I am most definitely an outta the box kinda of gurl, so Lucy seemed to fit right in out in from of those cool panels. She is an unlabeled wooden stamp. I inked her hair with the TH di Ripe Persimmon and colored in with Copics to give her that fabulous carrot top hair. Pink bling earrings and she is good to go.
The bit of Salty and Sweet, candy, is actually a bottle of ELVIS sweat (MOMR stamp). I colored in the little bit left in the jar with shades of blue, hinting at the popular song 'Blue Suede Shoes'. Drops of the sweat are overflowing the bottle!
The Basic Grey papers from LIFE of the PaRTy seemed to be just right for my Lucy.
So thank you Vannessa for bringing Elvis out to play in the HYCCT1321 challenge , Toni...you were right on with the candy today, and Janette...for helping to keep it all in bounds!
I'm gonna go find my blue suede shoes...I just might need to take a spin across the dance floor...what with all the candy! Thanks for stopping by...
