CONGRATS Susie!!! Wow, first of all, I LOVE your SCS name - how cool is that! Second of all, your gallery is filled with lovely inspiration. I've been looking to do something a little different and when I saw this card, I knew I had to come up with something similar:
I wanted to find a collage type dp, but when I saw this pretty dp with matching polka dot colors, I just had to go with it. I also wanted to trellis some flowers up through it like you did, but it didn't happen. This is what I ended up with. I used that pretty polka dot dp for the PATP framing, the flower and the sentiment framing. The rest was the other side of the dp, lace, leaves and rolled flower.
I had so much fun with this one. Brought out my shabby chic sort of style. ENJOY YOUR WEEK!
Thanks for taking a look!

Well, thank you Pam! I'm glad you like my SCS name. I sometimes wish that I had just used my own name. I did things a bit backwards when I started stamping. My Blog name used be PaperPunchScissors (in the beginning). **Then** I became a member of SCS but it took me several years before I ever actually loaded my cards.
I also detect a little cowgirl talk going *giggle* on the FS Challenge this week. Now I'll tell you, I wish you could of seen our son's wedding in Sedona 5 years ago (Oct 2). We hosted a southwestern BBQ the night before the wedding. If you owned boots and a hat - wear em' if you got em'! In our household we give "sugar" for kisses. And everyone is called "baby." Yep, now you know the rest of my story : )
Pam, seriously, thank you so much for playing in the FS Challenge this week. Your card is a show stopper. I absolutely love using Spellbinder dies as cardbases. I think because I could never manage to wrap my brain around how to punch around the page! I'll leave that up to Andrea Ewen! *giggle* I bow my knee to that gal - she's a master at it. I'm so honored to have you CASE one of my cards. Thank you.
