I chose this Pinwheel Dress from the Winter Water Factory website for my inspiration. After stamping the and coloring the poppies, I filled in the background with a C7 Copic marker. To simulate the many stems in the background of the material, I scored lines at 1/8" all the way across my focal image. To get the "frame" around my panel, after I glued it down, I placed the Spellbinders die back on the diecut and drew around it with a black pen.

Great work, Lois. I'm amazed to read that you coloured the whole background. The scored lines give it a wonderful effect, almost like a subtle pinstripe.
This card is awesome, Lois. That's a lot of background to color in but it really highlights those wonderfully colored poppies and the scorelines just add to the the beauty of your card. So well done.

You colored the whole background?? Obviously you didn't rush. It's a gorgeous card, but would take ME several days to make. What patience. Everything is colored beautifully.
