A card for my husband, our home handyman who has a great sense of humor. Background was done from wood veneer leftovers, cut into tiny strips, then inked with direct to paper in various shades of brown . Image is from Art Impressions, colored with copics and pencils. The old time piece of ruler is from one of those old fold out yardsticks that was here forever from a Tim Holtz event. Thanks for looking.

I am doing mental cartwheels over this. Showed my dh and he burst out into laughter! He is the same!!! Looks like him and he's a plumber and works at Home Depot. This is my man!!!!

LOL What a FANTASTIC masculine card!!! LOVE the way you did the background with the various strips and cool notebook paper (I don't know what you call it) and the wood veneer is awesome!
