This month, we had to take a look on the p. 120 of the main catty. Wa had to make a scrapbook page, a T&T journal entry or a piece off framed art inspire by this page.
I love the mosaics and patchwork but I realized rarely. I started to fill the pages of my T&T notebook with photos of SU events in wich I participated, but I felt never quite inspired for realise my notebook cover.
So, this week I work on it and :here is my front page of my This & That! TA, DAM!!
I used some Mix Medias techniques to create backround... and make collage to stick my hexagons... It's out of my confort zone, but I need to challenge me! First I put one layer of Gesso. Let dry... Mix acrylic paint with So Safran recharge ink to make the backround... Distress and paste hexagons with Mod Podge and I must put another mix of acrylic paint to standardize the colors... because the Mod Podge change my So Safran in bright yellow!!! Arrrrrhh! Then I have complete the notebook, I attached my T&T with our new elastic Ribbon to avoid losing all tags that I inserted inside!
Take note that the lettering of the title is done with Billboard die cut- retired- but I could have used the letters of the "ABC, 123 outline alphabets" if I bought it because the dimensions are similar...

Wow - another gorgeous project, Susy! There is so much detail on this that I can't highlight one thing over another that I like. I do love the "ici & la avec Stampin' Up!" though. Made me smile (especially because I could translate it LOL).

This looks wonderful! You say the Mod Podge changed the So Saffron to a brighter yellow, but everything on here looks like it coordinates beautifully to me.
