The canvas (32x40) is paintied in acrylic using different techniques. I didn't want the silhouette to be a flat black painting so went for mixed media to give it texture.
For the Mixability challenge - Napkin/Tissue Decoupage, the Tissue paper was perfect for the skirt and capped sleaves. I added lace for the bodice and sculpted the hair and pollen head in the flower using modelling paste. It's the first time I've used these things in a painting and I've gotten hooked.
