This was a fun challenge and a bit of a learning experience. I learned that it is very difficult to cut an intricate die using felt....I cut the green felt on this several times..it kept falling apart (maybe it was the cheap felt?) so I ended up piecing it together to form a corner branch. I like how it looks but don't know that I would use that die and felt again. The other surfaces I used on this are: cork, foil paper, and my acrylic paint gelli plate bg on watercolor paper. TFL!

This is wonderful! Glad you stuck with the recalcitrant felt because that branch and bird are fab. Great mix of unusual surfaces and a beautiful color palette here. Challenge duly rocked!

Love your mix of surfaces Polly! Your gelli bg makes a great back drop for your pretty felt die cut and cork fence and I love the metal accent piece on the side.

I am LOVING your gelli backgrounds! This one is amazing!!! Your persistance with the felt is worth it, I think it looks so wonderful and soft! Plus, what a great contrast from the shiny metal diamond die cut (which also is soo cool!) Awesome mix card!!!
