well...no one would want to eat my pears, but it was fun to play in today's Color Challenge! Thanks Vicki for a pretty combination. I am late as usual with an anniversary card for my parents...but I couldn't resist the PAIRING when I saw todays colors.
It's all CAS here...inked the pears with VersaMark, embossed with TH distress ep in Walnut Stain (what's better with pears than walnuts, right!) and then slopped on the colors from TH ink pads. I added the pun sentiment and a tiny vintage velvet ribbon.
I've said many times before, I admire those of you who are 'real artists' with paints, watercolors, and 'drawers...my talent certainly lies elsewhere. But I did have a blast at 'FREEstylin' today.

I'll say...that this is "pear perfect". Love your artistic approach to the bg behind your stamped pears. These colors seem like a natural with anjou pears.

Susan you are just too funny!! I love this totally different look of your card. The color blocking is cool in itself and the pears look really wonderful stamped on top. Love your take on "pearents" too!!

What a cool way to do color blocking! Kinda makes it more contemporary to me! I LOVE the sentiment! They must be a sweet PEARents and a lovely pair! Love the perfectly matched velvet ribbon too!
