Cut cardstock 8 ¼” x 11”. Score in half. Open. Lay Spellbinders Floral Ovals #4 on the left side close to the edge and tape in place. Make a score line from the die up and from the die down to the edge of the card. The score line needs to be in the center of the die. Lay the cardstock on your cutting plates so that the score line is at the edge of the plates. You will cut only ½ of the die. After cutting place the cardstock entirely on the plate and emboss the entire design. To fold the front of the card hold it so that the embossed sides faces away from you and fold only on the score lines, so that the cut edge pops up. Close card. Cut and emboss a piece of pink cardstock using Floral Ovals Die - #2. Adhere to card front using Dimensionals.
Cut pink cardstock 8” x 5 1/4” and adhere to inside of card base. Cut tan Cardstock 7 ¾” x 5”. I used my Impressibility to emboss the tan cardstock and lightly sanded the embossed area. Spritz it with Clear Shimmer Mist and adhere to the pink cardstock. Stamp your inside verse in Brown on Pink cardstock. Cut and emboss using Floral Ovals - #4. Lay this piece on the inside of the card so that it is exactly under the front oval. You should not see the pink oval when the card is closed. The
I made 3 Roses using “Beargrass Metallic Cardstock” and Rose Creations Dies. Cut 2 Roses using Dies #3, #4, #5; 1 Rose using Dies #2, #3, #4. Sponge the edges and assemble. The filler flower is made using the Martha Stewart Medium Hydrangea Punch. I punched 10 out of white cardstock, added lavender lines, folded the petals in half and glued 2 petals together to make 5 flowers. For the flower centers punch 5 of the Medium Big Sky Punch in Lavender. Glitter the circles using stickles, use your Flower Toolkit to form them and adhere to the center of the flowers. Add a jewel to the center and cover it with Lavender Stickles. I used 3 digi leaves and the rest are from Shapeabilities Foliage Dies. The flourishes are from Cherry Lynn.
Stamp the outside greeting on pink cardstock using brown ink; cut and emboss using Labels 4 - #2. Trace the outside edge of the die onto DSP and cut out by hand. Glue the verse to the DSP and adhere your card using Dimensionals.
