Hello!
Here's another ATC I created using the suggestion that Dini (our hostess of the day) gave us in her Mix-Ability MIX12 "Pop Goes Your Color Wheel" challenge. We are to use all "cool" colors with a "POP" of warm (like I did) or visa versa.
For this ATC, I spritzed a piece of super heavy weight white cardstock with Ranger Perfect Pearl mist, then added some spritzes of assorted cool color inks as well. I used CMS070 Fabulous Flourishes stamp from Stampers Anonymous to add just a tad of background interest. I used bubble wrap with white and purple Studio acrylic paint to create the flowers. (Actually, I didn't know they were going to be flowers until after I added them) Then I painted in some leaves. I stamped the sentiment from Stampers Anonymous CMS085 "Good Thoughts" with Ranger's Red Pepper Adirondack ink then sprinkled it with clear embossing powder and heat set. Then I inked some black around the edges and added some doodling on the flowers and leaves, and around the sentiment and card edges as well. I finished it off with just a touch of Stickles glitter glue.
I hope you will join us in today's challenge.
Mixed media really is fun and easy!

Perfect! I love the red against the cool colors, and your cools are so soft and welcoming! All the sprays add so much texture. Thanks for making a sample!! Love your ATCs.

This is awesome! I love the flowers best, but that sentiment is a close second!

This is really fabulous, True! I love the color palette you used, and those sweet flowers play so well against the wonderfully styled sentiment.

Wow! This is amazing and I love reading about the process you went through to get your results! Love how you improvised and made the bubbles into flowers and painted on leaves. Love the way you created the sentiment too!
