(I'm sorry I didn't get time to comment last week - life hit a busy patch! I'll be around this week though ).
A quick card for this week's Teapot Challenge - this is the most English stamp I have . Way back in the day when I was working in the UK before I was married, standing outside a red phone box waiting to ring home or ring my now DH was something I was very familiar with. We forget about that with all our fancy modern communications.
A2 base.
Penny Black image stamped on wuite card and coloured with Couleur d'Art pencils. Pavement drawn in. Matted on black.
TCP sentiment punched with Word Window punch and layered on a black oval, popped up on foam.

This is the bees knees. I love that image and the way you tinted it. You have a style which I love. You make the image a focal point with washes rather than intense colour and the backgrounds are always muted with lots of white space. It's a style all your own, very distinctive and effective. The message is never lost in clutter.

Your card is adorable! Such a sweet image of the hedgie inside barely starting to make his call and of course, someone is already outside the door waiting! This is life, hurry hurry rush rush!! Your coloring is stunning!

When I was a little girl I remember phone booths along the downtown streets and people waiting to use them. As a child, I only played inside them if nobody was around. It wasn't long before they were history though. This image is so sweet....I just love seeing animals on cards.....and your home made sidewalk is the best, Sabrina, it really finishes the card off nicely~
