I'm catching up - half done my late Creative Crew projects!
This Creative Focus challenge was to use our new Paper Piercing tools. I DO have the actual tools, and I have been wanting to use them. I have also been wanting to play with my MDS and start to make some HYBRID pages. We are just so well set up for such fun with our SU offerings! Unfortunately, being behind I didn't have time to do print and actually do the piercing on the page - but check out the dotted circle around my basketball image. When I print the page, I will actually remove the dots and use my paper piercing template to add that circle. I am also thinking that it would be super cool to print that bigger 4x6 photo separately and pop it up on dimensionals. How fun would THAT be?
I used the A Split Second digital kit - using the template provided, just adding a 4x6 photo as well, just recoloring the DSP to royal blue to coordinate with our Team Alberta jerseys. I replaced some of the stamps from the kit with Game Day and Game Day Basketball stamps. I added some Mis-Stitched stitching - recolored black, and three brads re-colored Poppy Parade. Super fun!!
