No foolin'...it's time for the Creative Crew again! This is also my last month in my term on the Design Team; I've had a blast! I hope you all play along with us too.
This is my card for the Creative Focus Challenge: "This month, let's show off our new paper piercing tools! Located on P181 of the main catalog and on P 27 & 36 of the spring catalog, these can add a great accent to any project! Challenge yourself to add piercing to your card in a new way. If you don't have the paper piercing tool, use a pushpin!"
I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of paper-piercing, but pulled out (and dusted off) my Festive Paper-Piercing Pack and kept things clean and simple. What do you think?
My card base is Sahara Sand and the main panel is Whisper White. Onto it I pierced the frame, wrapped the layer with 1/4" Pacific Point Stitched Grosgrian Ribbon and adhered it to the card base with Dimensionals. I stamped the main image with Pacific Point ink onto Whisper White cs, punched it out with my 1-3/4" Circle Punch and adhered it inside the frame with Dimensionals. It's embellished with Basic Rhinestone Jewels and a Cajun Craze Designer Button. (I got this awesome color combination from the Color Coach. Love that thing!)
