What fun spring colors to use for the challenge today. I got to see sunshine for just a couple of minutes this morning before clouds and more snow flurries came. I have hope that spring really is on the way. The tulips on this card are a sneak peek at a Mark's Finest Papers set that will be released next week called SPRING THINGS. When I go to color my flowers I often google a real photo of them to see subtle colors and shadings. When I did that this morning. I learned the meaning of yellow tulips. The article I read said that yellow tulips meant unrequited love, but had been changed to mean cheerfulness. I like the second meaning much better. My critter is my butterfly from Mark's Finest Papers set called CRACKED HELLO. The sentiment is another sneak peek at a set called GLAD GLADS. I used Monday's MOJO284 sketch.

This is such a pretty card MariLynn!! I would agree with you that cheerfulness is a better definition for the tulips. Your stitching and ribbon are both done so nicely and add a lot to your card. TFS!! :>)
