I was having a blast. I broke into my encyclopedias and used the "f" book to be able to use one of the flower pages. Everything was going along great...I stamped the images in black, used pearlescent watercolors on the flowers, sponged ruby red and then black on edges....NEXT, I decided to put a layer of matte mod podge on which made the flowers bleed. I had spent too much time on this to pitch it so it is what it is. I tried to touch it up after the mod podge...So there you have it!

I really like your card Pam!!! I think this challenge will be right up your alley. The modge podge is cool stuff. Those floral flourishes are awesome. I love the colors and how you sponged the edges. Way to go!! :>)
That is so irritating when you spend your time and then something happens. Actually I like how it bled. Looks like you colored outside of the lines on purpose. This is really pretty. Great colors together.

I love this idea! It looks so fabulous! If you didn't mention the bleed I don't think anyone at all would have noticed! I love the sponged page! Gorgeous collage card!

It's called a "watercolor effect" and exactly what you were going for, right??? If you wouldn't have said it was a mess up, I would've thought it intentional and still would've sad it was gorgeous!

This is gorgeous! Oh I love those incidents that change the outcome of our plan. It doesn't look broken, in fact it looks exactly along the lines of your distressing sponging. I love the flower listing page.
Thanks for trying out the Mix-Ability Challenge!
