I pulled out a favourite ladybird stamp for today's Teaparty, but then when I read that Marian was a keen knitter, I knew I just had to let the hens out of the coop. I did add a couple of ladybirds .
Quick card, I've been sick the last couple of days.
A2 base, brown Bazzill embossed with a woodgrain ef and sponged with white.
Penny Black hens stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks and markers: tea dye, forest moss, vintage photo, mowed lawn, peacock feathers, walnut stain, pumice stone, mustard seed, picked raspberry, barn door.
Little ladybirds are from Garden Whimsy and were probably a mistake :-(.

Oh, my, look at all those hens just a knitting away......then there's the ladbugs keeping an eye on them to be sure they don't goof up on those lovely sweaters! Too cute, Sabrina! I love their dotted leggings~

wow for a "quick card" this is fabulous, also one of my favorite stamps. I love that the hens are sitting outside to knit. You created a lovely vignette with the soil for them to scratch in when they need a snack. Hmm maybe they will help the ladybugs in the pest eradication?
