I stamped these birds in gray rather than black, then colored with colored pencils, no oms. I sponged around the edges of the image panel.
The dp is double-sided and I was able to make 8 cards from one 12x12 sheet by fudging on the size of the last few pieces. (Must remember to measure and calculate first!)

measure and calculate???? ICK sounds to much like high school math class...the gray ink gives a more natural look to the image....great that you got so many cards out of 1 sheet...and YEA!!!! you're done for this yr....
