Today I'm sharing a bright and cheerful card I created using the Tropical Garden jumbo flower from Stampendous. I attempted to mimic the hibiscus flowers I've seen that have just a hint of pink in their petals. To do this, I started with my darker yellows around the outside of the petals, and worked inwards. I did two rounds with different yellow markers, and then switched to coral pinks. To blend it all together, I then colored over the entire thing with a light yellow. Here is a breakdown of the colors I used (complete supply list at the end of this post:
Yellows: CT4, CT3, CT2
Pinks: CR2, CR1, FS1 CR5 (stem omly)
Greens: CG4, LG3, LG4
Blues: (shading around flower border panel): BT2
Supplies:
Stamps: Tropical Garden, Daisy Stem Trio (Stampendous)
Card Stock: Yellow, Turquoise (Bazzill); Black (Recollections); White (Neenah)
Ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Coloring Medium: Spectrum Noir
Accessories: Ribbon (May Arts)

This card would brighten anyone's day! I too appreciate you listing the colors and explaining how you blended them. You did a better job of this than several magazines I've seen lately!
