I love me my distress - long gone are the days when I couldn't understand Basic Grey papers with their distressed finish, LOL.
For today's challenge I combined my distressing with the current ODBD challenge to use no designer paper.
I went with the map stamp that I had on my table from yesterday, even though I didn't have reject wrinkle-free distress paper to start out with today and had to make some to start off with.
5 3/4" base, edges sponged with Walnut Stain.
Map paper created by using several green inks and making a page using wrinkle free distress. Then I stamped the CAC map with Versafine Sepia. I sponged the sea areas with blue ink, and heavily sponged the edges with Brushed Corduroy, Walnut Stain and Soot Black.
Image stamped with Versafine Smoky Grey on watercolour paper and colour added by sponging. Edges sponged, and it's matted on to some RAK paper which is a bit like oiled manilla. Sentiment stamped with Versafine Sepia, cut with Labels 8 and sponged.
I added some Sinamay mesh along the bottom, and an outline sticker of a dolphin on some blue vellum.

These colors are so soft and de-stressing, in my opinion. I love your ocean/nautical scene and that sweet gold outlined dolphin is the best! Great distressing on this one~

We must have some kind of wave length between Florida and Ireland today, Sabrina. We both used lighthouses on our cards. I love the look of this. The background paper is marvelous, and I love the look of the webbing. Beautiful card!
