 | | Today's Technique Lover's Challenge is "Stamping Nostalgia" - use only those things that were available way back when.
So I went to one of my first stamp sets - In the Stars. And found an old piece of dp at the bottom of the drawer. Got out a circle punch instead of a Nesties circle. And way back before embossing folders, I used to use a paper crimper to add some texture so dug that out too!
Stamped, heat embossed, and hand-cut the stars, punched semi-circles out of the dp to let the crimped green background to show through (an idea I saw ages ago on SCS - not sure who to give credit to as it was so long ago). Had to add twine instead of ribbon as it's for my nephew's birthday. |
