I have always admired Sue's ("suen" is her gallery name) cards so when I saw she was nominated "Queen for the Day", I looked for one of her cards to CASE.
Sue was inspired to make her snowy trees by the 14" of snow she had in late December. My CASE is inspired by the beautiful tree I'm looking at outside my study window which is currently covered in pink blossom.
I used a different tree stamp, different colours, and different season of the year, but kept Sue's layout and use of the window die. I sponged my background and added a sentiment.

Such a pretty card, Susan! I love your blooming tree and the warmth of the scene out the window! It'll be a little while before our trees bud, but the snow is melting quickly! Thank you for helping make the honor of being QFTD special.

Susan, a lovely card to honor the Queen this week!! I don't think you have played previously in the Queen For A Day Challenge. So a big warm welcome is in order. Hope to see you back again very soon!

wonderful card Susan, I've seen a few of the window cards with winter scenes, so it is nice to finally see a spring scene while looking out the window.... Awesome spring tree.... One day I will have to get my die out and actually use it...... TFS
