Ah..what a QFTD! Sue (Suen), whose gorgeous gallery is full of inspiration and tons of links too! I loved the roses Sue made on this card and followed her links to the tutorial. Ai yi yi! It is too easy! (thanks to Simply Rae for making this video). Well...here's the story, I started out before work, intending to upload before I left, but as you can see, my lil patch of roses kinda exploded, and I could not stop! So Sue, I really did start out with your wonderful design, and I thank you for sharing your work. Hope your reign as Queen is sweet, your surely deserve this honor! (((hugs)))
Keeping Sue's design, I added the Kokirose wandering stitch, and a few leaves and pearls. As I was watching the tutorial, I changed up a few things- like using a SU scallop punch, and a quilling tool to make a more full bloom, and I sponged the edges prior to quilling.
Thanks for looking!
Edit: I had a few questions regarding the blooms, and added a link HERE.

This is stunning! I love all the leaves and the beautiful blooms on top along with the lace behind all of it. The CL die is always such a pretty addition. Love this.

Holy Schmokes, Sis!! Your twirling paper strips turned magically into the most gorgeous spray of flowers EVAH!! I just checked out both Sue's card and Rae's tutorial - thanks for providing us with the info to make these - sure look like store-boughten flow'rs and pretty as a picture atop that lacey acetate, lest I forget the famous "wandering" stitch you learned from Ms Pat Rose! This card bloomed all over the place - don't know when to stop, do ya?? LOL

Ay yi yi is right!!! This is a "stop in your tracks and stare at what this gal has made" kind of card my friend! Stunning. I have actually started to clear away some of the "scatter" left behind in my stamping room when my DD vacated her "office space". She had more or less 'moved into' my craft room and called it her office while we were in AZ. She has now found a place of her own and has moved out "most" of her "stuff". Maybe by next week I'll feel organized enough to start making cards again! Hugs my creative friend.
