Sympathy card for Seth, who lost his beloved "Gran" last week. He had just returned from a Mexico Mission trip with his mom. He has a heart for Jesus, so I embossed SU's Extreme Guitar over some DP from Hobby Lobby that has the names of Jesus, as a desire of Seth is to learn to play. The bg was cuttlebugged using the music folder, and I printed out the sheet music from Google and sponged it with Creamy Caramel. The inside sentiment is from ODBD and reads "I will sing and make music with all my soul" Psalm 108:8
Thanks for looking.

What a handsome card! I love the music down the left side and the musical bg. That cross is so perfect. I have kicked myself several times for not getting all of these stamps SU offered. I only have the surfer. This will be so touching for Seth.

I understand how music touches our very souls, and to be able to play and sing will be like praying TWICE! I am sure that Seth will be connecting with these words and his beloved 'Gran' through his singing and learning to play. What a unique way of using the music , the CB EF, and the DP with the Lord's names to bring home this moving truth inside! Heartfelt, and sure to touch him deeply!

Cool card. I just gave in an bought the ODB Amazing Grace Background. I need to make a lot of sympathy cards this weekend. So I got it just in time. I might have to use your idea of the embossing in the background.
