this is my card for Heather's tulip tones challenge. It's part of the VSN mini. She wanted us to make a card inspired by tulips.
And also for the IC323 challenge. And Judy sent us to the Better Photo site today for inspiration. I chose the purple tulips in bloom as my inspiration.
Anyway for my card, I did a punch art tulip. The tutorial is here on Valita's blog. It is made with the SU owl punch and a circle punch.
I used lovely lilac and olive green paper for my tulip. I sponged the tulip in concord crush for some dimension. So I have my tulip tones. I sponged the leaves in old olive
My bg paper is from lasting impressions. The "happy easter" sentiment is from a new stamp set from Marks Finest Papers- blessings.

Beautiful punched tulip - I love it. I tried this a few times, but mine didn't come out as pretty as yours. Great job!!
