I make a lot of cards for our church and we are always in need of sympathy. I think that clean and simple cards are absolutely perfect for sympathy.
I made this card for the CAS-ual Friday challenge blog. This week they ask us to mist - so there is a hazy, golden mist on these flowers.
The picture really doesn't do it justice. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink's Fine Linen which is fast becoming one of my go-to neutrals. It can be used like a kraft but it's got a warmer tone to it (less gray than this picture looks). So it seemed natural to use a golden mist. There is a close-up of the mist on my blog.

Great sympathy card -not too somber! I can appreciate the comfort it would bring to the recipient. Think I ll make one similar to it. Thanks for sharing ;)
