Today Joan issued a challenge to "Make it Snow". I just made this card for this week's MFP blog hop!! Actually this set is being highlighted tomorrow, so this is a sneak peek. Love it when this happens! Also qualifies for CAS145 - Christmas or Winter.
This set is called "A Trip to Lancaster". Anyone who has traveled through Lancaster has seen this familiar site. The Amish as they travel the roadways. Sometimes, you'll see a lot of them as they travel to their Prayer Meetings. I lived in Amish Country and had one man make my stamp storage cabinets. Gorgeous oak work!
I used the Itty Bitty stamp and inked it with watermark, then added Winter White embossing and white applique to make my "snow".
On to working on Christmas cards. Have a wonderful day!

I live in Virginia near Old Order Menonites and see this also. This scenery is so peaceful and serene. Your technique for snow looks lovely; great colors and nice sky too.

What company made these stamps? Where did you get them? Love the whole scene. Heading to Lancaster with my girl home from college tomorrow just to enjoy the culture. It's so calming. Blessings, Kelly

Nice card! I like your images and "snow." One of my late-husband's and my favorite places to travel for our "mini" vacations, were to Amish communities. There are some here in IL and many in IN that we travelled to. Twice, I rode in the carriages. The springs are really bouncy and if you don't know how to gracefully get in and out (like I didn't!), it makes you teeter like you are going to fall ... heehee! Nice card!

How Beautiful Vicky!! You took a true to life scene, and put it on a card, so that it's as if we're right there!! We can almost hear the sounds without feeling the chill!
