This card is for this weeks Less Is More challenge on Blogspot which was to use red and orange.
I just bought this fabulous stamp (Unity) and knew it would be perfect for the challenge.
The image was stamped in Soft Suede on SU!s Natruals Ivory card stock; once on the card base and then a secnd time onto a scrap. I colored the leaves with red and orange pencils; went over the red pencil areas again with SU!'s Real Red marker; took the Soft Suede marker and darkend the lines where they had faded under the pencils; then added red spica glitter pen to some areas to give it a bit of highlight.
The second set of leaves were cut out; a bit of glue was put under the tips closest to the sentiment; then I placed a foam dimensional under the larger part of the leaves so that the leaves flare out instead of just being popped up.
I placed Kaisercraft pearls over the dots at the tips of the leaves and used the spica glitter pen on the other dots. Unfortunately the picture looks like orange and darker orange, but it really is orange and red
