These are tags I'm making for a tag book. I used Distress Inks to make the backgrounds, stamped using both Distress Inks and Archival Ink, and distressed the edges/fronts using scissors and a sanding block.
I used a foam applicator to cover the tag in tea dye ink, then crumpled the tag and covered the creases with peeled paint. I sprayed water on the whole thing and ironed it flat again. Then I distressed lightly over the whole card with more peeled paint. Then I used spiced marmalade to stamp the flourishes and corner brackets. Peeled paint was used for the wings. Jet Black Archival Ink was used sparingly for the phrase stamp and a sticker from Tim Holtz's Crowded Attic collection.
