I am so thrilled to kick off this year's amazing event benefiting the breast cancer patients at Texas' own UT MD Anderson cancer center.
I am humbled by the bravery of breast cancer survivors and my challenge is to create a card with a pink critter on it, because I know that in our darkest days, our pets bring us so much joy and hope!
My pink critter is this beautiful vintage pink stork. I had always assumed that storks wore top hats and little glasses when toting babies around, so I was glad to see this one is properly dressed!
We have three challenges for you today and so head over to the challenge forum to play along.
Please join us - we have new challenges every day, and we have a MIND BOGGLING list of prizes for you!

This is obviously the REAL stork, all the other ones you see around are masquerading! This ones REPRESENTIN' : )
I love the delicate way you colored this darling image, Lydia, and the text and lace! FAB!

Perfectly adorable, Lydia! I like the mix of elements you have used to create this card, the silver glimmer, twine and lace. All come together beautifully.

My, I never thought of a stork with a top hat, just like old fashioned doctors. Cool!!
I saw real storks for the first time this year - I want to live in a country where they do!

Great card. So many elements to love here: the stork, of course, so beautifully colored, the newsprint, the dsp, the blingie paper, the lace, the twine and the tiny tag. It all goes so well together.
Thanks for sharing.

I love this new SU image but this is the first time I've seen it used. Now I have to get it for sure!!! Only you could combine this with newsprint and somehow it all looks so natural together. I love it, Lydia!
