I created this for this week's color challenge CC340:
Peach Parfait
Poppy Parade
Pool Party
Dessert Option- add an outdoor element to your card. Sun, Lake, Pond, Beach, Trees, Leaves, Butterflies, Birds, Flowers, etc.
I must admit I really struggled with this color challenge, and then I remembered I could make my own bg paper by distressing with my embossing folder. I sponged poppy on the CB EF and embossed the peach card stock. Then I just added pool party (or as close as I could get), added lace with poppy ribbon laced through it, both poppy and peach flowers and called it finished. I did use Copics to color in the girl's flowers on her hat.
It has been a long time since I played along with a color challenge - because they are all so challenging for me :( Thanks so much for looking, and I hope you like it. Let me know what you think.

Barb, what a lovely old-fashioned feeling card. Love your silhouette of a girl in her pretty bonnet. Wonderful coloring of the flowers on that bonnet. Beautiful bg embossing and shaped panel.
