This was an experiment. I gave myself a challenge: use a punch in a different way, use a stamp set that I haven't used much, make some of it 3D. I used my watercolors as well and, I was working on a piece of sahara sand, looking back, I probably should have had a different backgtround color, because I watercolored over it, but this was one of those "out of my comfort zone" moments. Hope you like it.

The flowers, yes.. these need some patience. but they are fun just to try. I used a large "Sun Punch" punched about 10-12 yellow suns per flower of light weight card stock. Taking one, I put it in the palm of my hand. With the end of a pencil(eraser side) I begin making a circular motion on the center of the sun, keeping my hand slightly cupped, the motion makes the edges oc the sun come up. Then it is just a matter of glueing and layering after each one. As for the center, I just made smaller circles, and a dab of water so that the paper would kind of "stick"to itself... I know clear as mud, right? If you would like, I could so a step by step with photos, but I'm not sure how to post it, as I'm just new at this site. THANKS for all the great comments though, You all keep me inspired!!
