This card has a two-fold purpose. It is for Dawn's challenge to Frame It Up and for my Mom's friend Barbara. Some of you may remember I told you about her yesterday in my WT challenge description. I started a thread for Barbara last night in the Need A Lift forum. You can view it here.
I have limited time today and got so little sleep last night that I actually cased one of my own cards that I had made for the DTGD challenge. It's all about frames so it worked perfectly and it was really fast to create.
SU's Field Flowers stamped in Olive Green, Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point on Whisper White. Used nesties oval to cut the image and the scalloped oval to frame in Tempting Turquoise. I cut two frames with SU's Top Note die; one in Old Olive and one in vellum. I ran the vellum piece through the bs with the swiss dots ef. Base is Whisper White layered with a piece of dsp from HolidayTreasures.Taffeta ribbon was an su special and I have no idea what the name is...Added sentiment from On the Grow and some white dots around the scalloped image.
TFL and as much as I look forward to your kind comments I would appreciate it if you would use the time to scoot over to the thread for Barbara instead. Thanks!
Oh, I don't know if I can leave comments today but just know, I always love your creations!!

I will definitely go check the forum. This is a lovely card you made your mom's friend - I love little details like the white dots you added to each of the scallops!
