 | | I created a bookmark today using a very old set that seemed just right. This bookmark is special because I incorporate the letters and sentiment from the tag on a gift I received from my upline. She brought me back one of the beautiful shopping bags and the tag was so pretty I wanted to resurrect it for a creation. This was where I used the components. I watercolored a piece of wc paper with ink from the lids of SU inkpads in Limeade, Daffodil and Plum. I went back and layered some shimmer paint over the basic color. IRL it looks so rich. I stamped the vine in black once it dried. I cut the letters for GROW out and reconstructed the word across the bottom, using the sweet sentiment on the top. I even used the ribbon from the tag on top of the bookmark. The pinked edging makes this pop against the black base.
