The current Stamping in Time challenge for ODBD is to make our own background paper using ODBD stamps. I have none of the backgrounders (although the snowflake one is high up my wishlist), so I made my own using Sing for Joy.
I cut a piece of white card to A4 and scored at 1 1/4" intervals to help position the stamp. Then I stamped repeatedly, using Versamark, embossed with clear EP and sponged with Pine Needles Distress ink. I sponged the edges brown and stitched around them.
Image is from the same set, stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black and coloured with distress inks. I added Glossy Accents to the beak and feet, and sponged the background with brown. It's layered onto a piece of card sponged with Fired Brick and then stitched.
Sentiment is See-D's, stamped on white card with ColorBox Pigment Scarlet, and fixed to the card with gold cord and some Sizzix holly leaves.
So in fact all I used for the whole card was white card, no DP at all.

Wow, what beautiful DP you created - again, wow!! Your image is lovely and colored wonderfully. I really like the brown distressing on the image and DP and your tag. This is at the very top of the wow-o-meter!!
