I used the faux cloisonne technique to make my ornament (it's a magazine picture of the North American Nebula!) and then cut it out, coated with Glossy Accents and finally popped it up - hope that counts for special treatment!
Card is a scrapling (the piece that's left when you trim to a regular sheet to make a square card).
