I've been away from my craft room for awhile and couldn't believe how rusty I was after a such a short time. I tried to do today's sketch challenge and wound up throwing it away.....couldn't make any decisions and couldn't measure anything to save my life. Anyway....I decided to finish up a card I started before I left.
The panel is cream card stock embossed with an SU eb, then spondged with mustard and rust ink and stamped with one of my favourite stamps by the Old Island Stamp Company. The edge is sponged with metallic gold ink. The butterfly is from My Heart Stamps for You, embossed in gold, cut out and mounted.
TFL!!

Jo, I just love this card! Your colors and patterns plus the artful distressing really create a card that reminds me of a Pierre Deux fabric. Gorgeous!

Jo, you've certainly been missed. I kept coming to see what beauty you made and no Jo to be found. Glad you're back with some of your gorgeous work. You know how to make a card look as if there is a light behind it...gorgeous sponging. You know I love those Old Island and OnyxXpressions stamps you use and the 'fly is awesome. Don't stay away again...orders from the Benz! LOL
