I made this card for the StampinB challenge this week to use paper piecing and monochromatic blues with one neutral. I happen to be a blue and white fanatic, so this was right up my alley.
I don't know why I came up with the idea of paper piecing this clock. Not a clue, but I did. I used the SU Springtime Vintage dsp for the b/g matting and the paper piecing.
The b/g nestie was adorned with pearls given to me by my SCS and now "real life" friend, AudreyAnn. Thanks for the lovely pearls Audrey!
I used a border punch on the bottom, an ef on the horizontal panel along with some medallion punches with flowers. I found the sentiment in my scrapbook stashes.
Thanks so much for taking a look and if you want to join in the fun of the StampinB challenge, see my signature line and click on Stampin'B to get to the blog.
This also qualifies for the DD Challenge to use punches or nesties!

Pam, when I saw your card, I just oohed and aahed! (I'm sure that is all spelled incorrectly!) At any rate, I love the clock on the DP. Your pearls really jazz it up nicely.

Holy smokes, Ms. Pam! This is such an incredible masterpiece. Worthy of framing. Lucky you to be friends with AudreyAnn IRL. I just got to meet redbugdriver, bambi64 and dawnl. Nothing like a SCS friend!

Wow Pamzi this is awesome. I am so in love with timepiece type of stamps....I have been grabbin im as I see im-even though you haven't seen a whole lot of them on my cards...lol I am such a hoarder. I love that you paper pieced the clock-it is a ingenius creative touch. The pearls surrounding it are stunning. This is one lovely creation. I estimate this took you 4 hours at least!!!! I have been getting faster on my creations lately. I am pre-coloring images and putting the cards together in my head before I actually sit down to do them....I haven't lost a card yet.hahaha I am bringing a whole bunch of Christmas images with me on my cruise to color!!!

See? I told you that you inspired me to finally cut into my new collection of SU Spring Vintage DSP, and great minds must think alike, because we both used the exact same pattern for this StampinB challenge! I love how you paper-pieced the clock face, Pam. What a wonderful effect!! Your layout is fantastic, and I love all of those pearls. They look fantastic ringing your clock!!
