This card will be flying out to Ashley in Indiana. Her family's home was pretty much ruined during a recent flood. Well, all her scrappin' and card making supplies were ruined. This challenge is all about the ribbons.
Satin E. Sasha and Rib N. McTibbons are all about getting the ribbons.
Lady Toodle Lou, I've got the ribbons here for you.
This was an easy card. The bird is stamped with 2 inks then embossed. Viva pearl is used for the eye. Fly was stamped but it didn't turn out good, so I had to go over it with the Tombow marker, and added a jewel at the end.
The ribbons were added to the back of this stamped panel, and this was adhered to the card.

You say it's a simple card, but it's so very elegant - love your idea for the ribbons and the two blues you used on your bird give it such dimension. I can relate to having to fix a stamped sentiment, but I never would have known if you hadn't told us. A simple looking card, but so, so very lovely.

Oh yeah, this is cool! What a great card.....I love those ribbony feathers! This birdie looks like an expert flyer! I am sure she will make it all the way to Ashley's without incident with her pretty blue ribbons! Woot!
