I've long been an admirer of Elaine, aka Quixotic. Not only are her coloring techniques amazing, she also uses the most gorgeous papers in her fabulous layouts! I loved Elaine's vellum overlay on this sweet card, Magnolia - Tilda in Dotty Wellies, so that was my choice to CASE.
Stamped the cherry blossom branch on the back of vellum, colored with Copics and layered it over some sponged clouds. Cut two layers of DP with deckled nesties and faux stitched around the edges. Colored my little friends with Copics, cut them out and popped them in the corner. I tore the pink DP, so had to cover it up with the bow... not what I intended, but it worked out okay.
Congrats Elaine!
p.s. - thanks Janet... I love my new stamp set!

Aww!! This is such a sweet springtime card. I love that spring is such a special time of year - everything is fresh and new and colorful - like all the bright, fresh colors on your card. Stamping and coloring the spring blossoms on the vellum is such a pretty touch along with the pretty ghingham.
