Well! today the teaparty is honoring Roxie our long suffering Sketch Challenge hostess!
And we're all going to the Roxbury for a wild night of dancing!
I'm bringing a rather sedate victorian couple to add a little class to the evening (if that's at all possible!! LOL!!!) but boy can they 'cut a rug' - look at those pointed toes and uplifted elbows!
There is absolutley no stamping on my card today (gasp) just a focus on the dance and the sketch (which is last week's as I'm sure you recognize!)
This lovely image came from Dover Publications who publishes copyright free images on disk that you can download, resize and print to your heart's content!
I added some ice stickles to the ladies hair ribbon, shoulder and edge of her dress and a little to the man's waistcoat for some shimmer.
So - Roxie - thank you SO much for inspiring us with all of your wonderful sketches! Hope we don't tire you out on the dance floor tonight!!

Julia this is very elegant!! Great sketch to honor the Sketch Queen Roxy!
------------------------------ Phyllis Young at heart, slightly older in other parts. We really never grow up, we just learn how to act in public!! What if you woke up today with only what you had thanked God for yesterday??

Now Julia! Come with me.....lets get you a drink (tea) and settle you down girlfriend! I know you are tramatized by the whole no stamping thing....but it gets better and better and you get calmer and calmer the more you do it! I was like you in the beginning...worrying all the time, fretting when I looked at the 42,000 stamps in my stamp room....but before long, you will get used to it.......after we bust some moves, I will give you the name of my therapist.......she doesn't use stamps either and she likes polka dots!! Snort!
This card rocks.....Although, I don't think they are gonna be able to bring some class to the night of the teapotters at the Roxbury, just too many dance moves that aren't really dance moves here tonight! Bwhahaha!
