This was such a complex process. I started making a card last night for the inspiration Challenge, using a combination of these two ideas from WallTAT: http://www.walltat.com/Nature-Graphi.../rf-11.530.htm and http://www.walltat.com/Create-a-scen.../rf-11.529.htm. I love the outlines and the whimsical nature of the first and the pattern of the chair back with a splash of color on the second one. I knew just what to do, and had some fun patterned paper to use behind one of the flowers in the Sweet Summer set. I ended up going to bed without uploading because it only looked average in composition. (One of those cards that looks okay, but something wasn't quite right.) I was about to give up and just move on, but I checked out this week's Featured Stamper and used this card Teal Birdie by StampGroover at Splitcoaststampers to help me figure out what to do! So I trotted off to my stamp room, cut apart the card I made last night and tried again. Instead of the flowers mounted on a background of Elegant Eggplant, I used Cookie's idea of a main panel on white with a ribbon. My ribbon is on the side rather than across the top, I used the border on both sides of the image and made the background color go across the whole card. I ran the white through the CB with the Dotted Swiss folder. Shading around the flowers was done with perfect plum ink

So pretty! Love the way you have the patterned paper behind the one flower. This card looks like it has so much depth to it, with the subtle background pattern and the white embossed flowers with just a touch of shadow behind them.
The girls must have been good if you had the chance to make a card!
