My SCS buddy Regina is the CAS guest designer and asked if I would be interested in joining the challenge this week. So, I gave it a go. The challenge was to make a CAS card based on this beautiful card:
You know, it took me longer than to make my intricate cards. Couldn't get the colors right, etc. Now that my stamping room is way out of control, I'm uploading this to honor my dear friend.
I know it has a bit more layers than usual for a CAS card; but, please forgive me. I couldn't make it work any other way.
I used Thyme Image from SU Herbal Expressions and the sentiment from SU Bird on a Branch. I also used SU Pretty Patterns b/g stamp for the b/g on the old olive panel. Added some dazzling diamonds to the flowers, crochet lace for the ribbon and bow, popped up the main image panel on dimensionals and used the SU Scallop Trim Corner and Border punch for the framing.

Haha - run to your embellishment support group. Brat is so funny. LOL! This is wonderful Pamziflake. And I hear ya on trying to cut down layers. My demo had a challenge to make a One Layer Card over the weekend. It just about did me in. Loves me my layers. Good to see you did some exercising with your punchez. I think it's a perfectly fabulous CAS card, My Friend! I love that you stamped that image upside down. What a light-bulb-moment for me! Duh!! LOL... Thanks for playing along with the CAS Challenge this week.

WOW Pamzi - this is pure perfection!! I love that stamp image - and how you've stamped it from the top and colored it so beautifully!! I also love your colors, that pretty lace bow, and LOVE how well you've used that punch!!! It's flawless - must be the PUNCHKATEER coming out in you!!! This is a FAB CAS card - it's just BEAUTIFUL.

Pamzi, this is gorgeous. I know what you mean about the CAS taking a long time to create! They are hard for me to, specially when you leave an expanse of white!! I love your punching around the page - I've not mastered that yet either! Your colors are wonderful here and I like your image. I think ya dun good w/ the CAS thang.

It is gorgeous and so cool that you went CAS! Now you see what it's like for me with all of my colouring! I tell you!

Wow! Pam, you did a beautiful CAS card. I love that image and it reminds me a bit of a Reddyisco card. She, so many times, has beautiful images hanging from the top of her cards. The one you cased is just gorgeous.
Hope your fever has subsided. According to Debz, you must have been on fire. LOL
