Basic Encaustic Landscape. Blue and White wax applied to the iron first then go slowly back and forth over the top third of the card. Then apply a dark sienna brown on the edge of the iron and green and yellow beneath that. Slowly swoosh the iron over the card moving downward to create the rolling hills. Then, lift the iron quickly using the existing wax on the iron to create the brush. Take a tissue to clean off the wax in the middle of the card for the lake. Take the very edge of the iron like an ice skate and draw up to make the leaves. Tip of the iron dipped in pink and purple wax to create the flowers and birds. And yes, I have seen purple ducks in Yosemite Valley. It's a magical place. To create this card - 10 minutes.

Absolutely beautiful. I have never seen this technique done before and am in awe of your card. Will definitely search out this way of using waxes. Thank you for sharing with us all.
